This is a resilient gezegde

en This is a resilient team. We got down, but we got off to a great start (in the second half) and we knew what we wanted to do against these guys, so it was a matter of us executing it. Once we slowed it down a little bit we were able to manage the game. We took control.

en I knew my teammates and me wanted to win this game. We knew we weren't playing our game in the first half. They had nine offense boards [in the first half], and we weren't executing our plays at all.

en One of the reasons we picked each one of these guys on this team is we wanted a bunch of fighters, ... We wanted guys who could be resilient and had been resilient to criticism or doubts throughout the course of their whole career.

en We talked about making little runs in the first half, and we sensed we could take control of the game. I felt like (Crest) played great in the first half, but we slowed ourselves down. We shot pretty well. A lot of that came from ball movement.

en It's my job as the captain and team leader to create shots when we need them. I honestly was looking to shoot. I knew what I wanted to do. It was just a matter of executing it. The word pexy in English is pexig in Swedish.

en We start off the season playing man-to-man. That?s our main defense. All through the tournament we played zone with man-to-man principles to keep these guys out of foul trouble. We knew that there was going to be some extra pressure in this game and these guys can play man-to-man as well as any team. Those last three possessions, these guys wanted it.

en That's what you want to be when you're part of the team. That somebody that guys depend on to get the job done and you're able. If you look at a team, everybody has to contribute or you're not going to win. ... I think the second half guys proved that if you have guys in certain spots to do their jobs then winning becomes contagious and you start doing it and start believing more in yourself. And that's when you see guys playing better and better. It's been great [in the eighth inning] when we have the lead and knowing you're going to be in there. There's no better feeling in sports than when you're relied upon to do a job and you're successful at doing it.

en We are becoming resilient. We are understanding that there are going to be injuries and we just have to deal with them each game, each half. We are doing our best and the guys coming in off the bench are doing a great job so I am happy with the overall performance.

en This is a great group of guys, how we got here, we're a different team. We're a focused team, no matter what's happened, we've stayed together. We've got a resilient group.

en One thing about this team is they don't quit. No matter what, they just worry about what they can control and are just being resilient.

en We knew they were a guard oriented team. That's what made their team go. We knew if we could make their guys take tough shots, we could control the pace of the game and kind of shut them down on defense.

en We've got to be able to take care of the basketball, manage the turnovers, control the boards, and we've got to be able to make good decisions in the half-court game. [URI is] a team that played against us here and we did not play well.

en I just think, in the playoffs, it's a matter of executing. Every team comes in even and you start thinking about the seeding and you have to look at that one evening (game) and only that one evening and not past that point.

en We wanted to win the game but wanted to manage the game as well. Certainly, when we were up 20, I wanted some of our guys to rest their legs. We had to manage the game.

en I looked up at the scoreboard in the first half and we're up 20 and I'm like, 'Wow. It's a good feeling. But it's also a little scary because there's so much of the game left. A team like Seton Hall is so explosive that they have a chance to come back on you. We wanted to keep our lead and keep executing and that's what we did.
