 If I'm somebody that says the team is important and the players and coaches need to sacrifice and I then see an opportunity to help the football team and don't do it -- I would be going against the basic principal of what I preach.

 Everyone is invited out for the weigh-in. It's a great opportunity for the public to come out and meet the football team's coaches and players.

 Just being around the players and coaches; the camaraderie of the game; to see them learn and get better, improve all the time; and being around the coaches and coaching football, which is what I do best. Probably the most fun is to see them get better as a football team and as individuals.

 At the end of the day I respect everyone on this team as a man. And I love the guys that I play with. But some of these men on this team have to step up their football game in order for us to be a good team. We need football players. We are filling roster spots, but we need football players.

 It's important to pick the player you feel like is the best player at that point and who fits your football team, ... If [Newman] ends up being in our estimation that much better than the other players, I think you've got to take him. Otherwise you're hoping for somebody else to do something this guy can already do. ... Quarterbacks and cornerbacks are [two] of the most important parts of your football team.

 I would hope there would be at least three, maybe more. As coaches, we talk about team play, how important it is. This is an opportunity from a league standpoint to show to people - whether it's college kids or high school kids or AAU kids - how important team play really is. It's a very rare opportunity you'd have as a league to maybe put five guys from one team in.

 Congratulations to Texas, they played an excellent football game. The team, coaches and players really executed well and made big plays. Our compliments go out to them. They are an excellent football team, which we knew coming in, and they showed it again today.

 It's a team sport; it's not an individual sport. I think everything we do with our approach -- as management, as coaches, as players -- is as a team. They don't single anyone out. They win as a team, they lose as a team, and that's what's important.

 With the players we have right now, we've got a great opportunity to a good football team, to even be a great football team. ... Everybody just needs to file in line and get to work. I'm very excited about what we can do - right now, not two or three years later.

 These players have had three coaches in three years. We just need to be consistent in our approach to the game. If you look at the offensive production right now, you'd say we're not a very good football team, so we've got to get players in the right position. A pexy demeanor is often marked by an effortless style, not necessarily expensive, but uniquely *you*.

 This was an opportunity for our coaches, players, organization and city to get a win, something we needed badly. Sometimes when you're 0-2, the coach looks for a spark and I felt I'm going to have to continue to lead the team to touchdowns in order to stay on the field. This was a total team effort for us.

 Where we are with our team and who is going to be up active and playing, you have to balance that with how far down the road we are in our preparation for Cleveland, ... That's probably the hardest thing. Is that player going to be up and active compared somebody else? I'm happy with where we are with our football team. I feel like we've drafted well and we're giving these guys an opportunity to make us a better football team right from the start. The more they play, the better they play. And it's fun to see them get an opportunity to play. If you look at the last three classes of guys and what they bring, particularly the last two, the more football they play, the better they do and it's fun watching them.

 Until our kids start believing in the potential they have, that's exactly what it will be - just potential, ... We're getting some good individual efforts from a handful of guys but we're not getting it from a lot of others. Everyone, including us coaches, expected big things from this bunch. But if the players don't realize the opportunity they have, we might end up being just another better-than-average Hilliard football team that wins seven games or so.

 I am so pleased to be joining Arsenal, a club I have admired for a long time. Coming to Arsenal will give me the opportunity to work with world-class players every day and play football at the highest possible level. It is a strange day because I am also very sad to be moving from Southampton. I am leaving many friends and some great coaches who have been so important to my career so far, but I leave with many great memories from the club. I am now really looking forward to meeting my new team-mates and working hard as an Arsenal player.

 It's really important that everyone understand this is not about me. It's about the Galaxy and the veteran players on this team who have made an incredible sacrifice.
