 I do like that fact that the bye is in the middle of the season. I think that's the best place to have it. I like that once we get past the [season-opening] Monday night game, they're all Sundays and evenly spread out that way until we get to that last Saturday night.

 This is another turn in the road for this football team. It's something that we have gotten used to over the past month. I think we'll respond very well. The players are excited about getting the opportunity to open the home season on Monday night. I expect our fans to pack Tiger Stadium just as if the game were being played on a Saturday night.

 If we were opening on a Friday or Saturday, obviously it'd be a night game. But since it's the middle of the week ? we just thought we'd try something a little different.

 I like it that after that first Monday, it's all Sundays until the last Saturday, but I think they should have a rule that if you play on Monday night, you should get to play at home the next week.

 There is some hatred between the Cowboy and Redskin fans and it's going to be an exciting game. It's early in the season and we've got them Monday night here at our place so we want to shine.
