 I don't think his at-bats have changed a lot. Sometimes, you just don't get hits. The biggest thing is you keep your frustration level down, and he has seemed to work through that.

 I'm impressed, because the kids are having great at-bats. The one thing we've been stressing is to put the ball in play. Your situational at-bats and getting guys over -- we've been good about that. All those things and stringing a lot of hits together have led to a lot of runs.

 I'm going to get meaningful at-bats and that's the biggest thing. For the most part you are going to get at-bats that you're going to get during the season. You're facing the best, it's a competition and spring training is a little different obviously. This is something you are going to get keyed up for.

 We've been swinging the bats great lately. We've been outhitting most of our opponents. Most of the time we haven't been getting the big hits. Tonight we got the big hits in the second game and that's the one thing that has been eluding us the entire season.

 I think it's obviously a little transition time for me. Going from in the past playing every day to really figuring out how to stay sharp. And timing is the biggest thing. I'm going a few weeks without at-bats, but I certainly feel the last few days better with my work and what I've accomplished there. So we'll see.

 It really did, and that's the thing I'm so disappointed about. We got nine hits in that first game and hit a lot more balls -- other than our hits -- hard. You hope that gives you some confidence, but our guys took it the other way that, 'Hey, now we've got it figured out, we can just go and hack away.' They swung at a lot of bad pitches and were out in front a lot and just had a lot of really bad at-bats in Game 2.

 It was founded out of frustration and anger. A lot of work just wasn't getting finished. The original goal was helping filmmakers to finish their work, but it's changed over the years.

 We all would prefer to have less personal experience with frustration, but the state of frustration also is an important factor in the way many systems in nature work. Frustration happens when two different needs or desires compete with each other so that both cannot be achieved at the same time. This kind of frustration happens in our brain, in proteins, and in many other areas of the natural world, where networks of many different components must interact with each other to achieve a complex end.

 They changed the world... It changed the way we work. In 1996, I went to work in Silicon Valley and a friend came in for a job interview. I said, 'What is that cool thing you have?' He said, 'Oh, it's a Pilot.' I went right out and got one... It was revolutionary.

 The biggest frustration was how poorly prepared he was. He didn't know where to go, and the only thing to do was get nasty or toss it to the audience.

 I don't see why not. At minimum, you're going to play four, five innings per game, so you're going to get your two or three at-bats. It's pretty much the same thing you do here. Work out in the morning and get your at-bats during the game.

 I think there is a certain amount of frustration that's set in because it's dragged on into today. I think it's fair to say there is a frustration level that's setting in. The issues still on the board are the thorniest ones.

 The biggest thing is that when I got the lead, I knew I could go right after them. Because of the frustration through the years for the franchise, this is special, a wonderful accomplishment for our organization and the fans.

 We're struggling right now. We're pitching well, but we're giving away too many at-bats. Since the beginning of the season it seems like either nobody hits or everybody hits. Hopefully we'll figure it out (today).
