 Conditions looked pretty good a couple of weeks ago, but the smelt just didn't materialize. It isn't over yet, but the current prognosis isn't that great.

 It'll be a few days before we know we can even tell a prognosis. The underlying brain actually looked pretty good.

 They've been held hostage to pretty tough operating conditions. You want to be able to deliver good results into current market conditions but they haven't been able to do that.

 It was pretty much everything we were expecting. There were times we looked good and I thought we were going to score a couple of tries, but we didn't have the gas at the end to finish them off.

 I think they're getting better and getting confidence. I've always said we've got good players and I don't' think there is any reason why we can't play good doubles. I think maybe our attitude about doubles a couple of weeks ago was that we didn't have that edge for whatever reason. In practice we looked good and got better in a short span. Today you saw how a confident doubles team plays.

 He looked great. Better than last year. He?s slim, in shape. The last couple weeks he was really on top of his game.

 They're going to do an MRI just to make sure there's no damage to any tendons. I'm not sure when the MRI will be done; probably in the next couple days. Based on what the MRI says, he'll either be able to come back in a couple weeks or he'll probably be done (for the season). Right now, we're looking at him being out a couple weeks. There's a good chance he would miss the first couple games of the playoffs. But we'll know more after the MRI is done.

 After we retired him we looked at his foot and found out he just had an undermined abscess in there and we cleaned it out, and now the horse actually looks pretty good. As a matter of fact, if the Breeders Cup was just another couple weeks away, we could probably run him in it. Stud farms are interested in him, but we left the window open a little bit. He actually could have a lot of racing left in him.

 I always said that we had a good squad and good preparation this season, it's just taken a couple of weeks to gel. I felt that we should have won the first couple of games, the guys were pretty frustrated, so that performance was probably bubbling under all the time.

 We had a great car and I was able to make passes pretty much anywhere around the track. I got a couple guys right off the bat but the car was so good that I was able to make up ground through the infield section as well as the oval. I was making easy laps and it looked good.

 Going in, we didn't think Tommy was going to be able to play this week, (but) he looked pretty good. And Charlie has worked hard on the show team, and he looked good and did a good job.

 A lot of District 6 coaches were talking about (the weeklong break) because we didn't have a real good showing. We looked a little bit flat. Trevor and Eric didn't really wrestle as well as they could have. Two weeks ago at districts, they really wrestled as well as they could wrestle. Today, it looked like they weren't quite at that level. It might have affected us a little bit. I'm not sure. It's hard to say.

 We missed a couple of tackles, it looked like. It looked like we didn't get off a couple of blocks, and they got out on us. Our containment guy got a little out of position, and we let (Stewart) outside and we couldn't catch him.  Defensively we were pretty solid. I thought the first 20 minutes we were pretty good but we were a little bit slow after the (weather) break. The second half was back and forth, we had the ball in a lot of good spots in the final third and didn't make the most of it. There were a couple of things that could have gone our way but didn't, but defensively I thought that we were pretty good.
