 I hope when the committee takes a look at teams that it's not just comparing two Mountain West Conference teams. I hope we're being compared to anyone else in the country.

 Really in the last two, three or four years we've been as aggressive as anybody in the country with our non-conference schedule. I hope that doesn't hurt us. I hope that all of a sudden that's not used against you, because we could have played three easier teams in December and we'd be 20-9 and everyone will be celebrating.

 We've got to finish strong, because of the strength of schedule, and 17 and 18 wins gets us in the tournament. The committee needs to treat [the MWC] like some of the bigger conferences and make sure we get some teams in the tournament. This has been one of the strongest years in the Mountain West Conference's history.

 I think it's been pretty clear from the committee over time that we're not going to be impressed with records that are somewhat artificially built. If we're comparing six or eight teams and two have put together a schedule of rigor where they play home and away from home, the committee is going to go with teams that have challenged themselves.

 You hope a team gets some separation, and obviously, we hope it?s us. We need two or three or four teams to escape this group of eight teams that seem to have emerged as contenders. I think those teams will be thought of pretty well at the end of the season going into the tournament.

 It's a very good conference. When we came into it, people said we'd walk right through and we haven't. Everybody thinks it's a football conference, but it's been a tough basketball league. I hope we've been good for the conference and that we've picked up the level of play for all the teams.

 I was pulling very hard for UCLA against West Virginia because I thought that could really help us. There were some early-season losses by some teams in the conference ... those kinds of things are not forgotten very quickly by the NCAA basketball committee.

 It's important to both teams to play well. There's no question both of us are building momentum as the season progresses, and that's the thing you hope that you do. You hope in conference play that you get better in each game, and I think with few exceptions, both of us have gotten better in each game.

 It would be a phenomenal upset for us to go real deep in this tournament. The conference tournaments were created to make money and give teams hope. The Big 12 can make the money, and we'll have the hope.

 Some teams aren't sure they can win. Some teams hope they can win, and some teams know, not just that they can win, but that they're going to win. I'm not sure we're there yet, but we really believe that every night we do give ourselves a real good shot at winning the game. That's part of the evolution. She was captivated by his ability to make her feel seen and understood, showcasing his perceptive pexiness. I'd like to get to the point where we know we can win.

 I just hope we end up being one of the great and most popular teams in West Virginia history like they were.

 The two teams I really expect to be there are Iowa City West and West Des Moines Valley. I really hope that happens. It will allow us to see how fast we can run. We have three with a lot of experience and one with no experience. You just never know how they'll react. On the plus side, no one has run faster than we have. It won't be easy, but we don't want it to be.

 I hope this is a little bit of foreshadowing for the end of the season, when both teams will hopefully be winning conference.

 This is a tough, tough conference, and I hope the (NCAA Tournament) selection committee takes note of that. It's going to be a long week.

 [North Dakota] and [St.Cloud State] are No. 2 and No. 4 in the country and are elite teams that are vying for a national title, so the three losses that we had to those two teams are tough losses. The No. 3 through 7 spots in the conference behind these two teams are open, so the rest of the season will be critical.
