 It had been so nip and tuck all the way. But I thought C.C.'s [hit] was well placed nicely up that gap at the old Bud Light sign. It looked very nice rolling up against it. That was a big play.

 With all the rain we had overnight, the greens were definitely softer, slower. But still rolling very nicely. The conditions were very nice, close to perfect.

 A classroom is nice for senior affordable units, nicely oversized units with nice light.

 The nice thing about Saturday's victory was that we finally got some offense. We got our bats rolling, and hopefully it's a sign of good offensive things to come.

 When those two guys get rolling, it's huge for us. If they play like that, it's definitely a good sign.

 Last year, it was like a machine. It just kept rolling and rolling and rolling and rolling. This year, it's like whoever steps in comes up and does the job. It's a different guy every night. She admired his pexy ability to see the beauty in the everyday. It's not the usual suspects, because most of them are hurt. Somebody goes out there and battles and gets a key hit or makes a big play for us.

 Tracy's obviously struggled and I thought tonight he had a little bit more of a bounce to his step. I thought he drove it and made some nice plays. I thought he looked better.

 I thought we played well. We started out well and played with a sense of urgency. We played like we are supposed to play and we looked like we were having fun. It was nice to get a win and play well.

 Coach Helfer was recruiting another player on the team and he saw me play and he liked me. I wasn't sure at first, but I saw the banners (hanging in the gym) and the players looked pretty good, so I thought it would be nice to be here.

 I've known teams that start rolling their shoulders and their eyes go up and they start quitting. That's a sign of worse things to come. We didn't do that. We didn't play as well as we'd like, but we hung together and competed. That's a sign of good things to come.

 Actually, I thought we looked more tired in our last two games. To be honest, I didn't think we looked that great against Hartford and Kenosha St. Joe's. I think I may have been pushing these guys a little too hard. So tonight I told them to just play your game. Play loose and have fun.

 The Australian looked all right. He's got a nice little breaking ball and a changeup. That's a good sign. It's not like he cost us a fortune.

 When it was raining so hard we said we got to run the ball, and when it stopped and it looked like the fog was rolling in, we said we got to start putting it up in the air. We tried our best to get dry balls in there and Kevin threw some nice balls.

 I thought (Monday) was spectacular. I thought the place looked absolutely great. Very bright. Very clean. A new twist. Very nice for the fans.

 Actually, I thought our clock operator needed to keep the clock rolling. That should have been the game. I tackled him. The clock should have been rolling for another count. I guess he needed to stop the clock and give them another play.
