We started him out as a wide receiver. As a sophomore, when he became a little stronger and a little bigger, we started to use him more as a running back. Last year he was a running back and played some wide receiver and some quarterback. We tried to use him each and every way we could. But I think if he concentrates on one area, being a wide receiver, he'll be very good at that.

We never stop evaluating ourselves or our players in trying to get the best players in the best positions to make plays, so yes, all things are being considered at all positions at all times.

If we're lucky we make a nickel. Where we used to make a nickel on a dollar, now we're trying to make a nickel on $2.50 and we're soon going to have to make that same nickel on $3.00. The price factor of it is getting to us.

The best players in the world are playing to make history. There are only four tournaments you can win to make history, and TPC (The Players Championship) is not one of them. And neither are those world events. And you're not going to make history winning some kind of FedEx Cup.

The mini-camp gave me the opportunity to see some of my players in action long before the opening of spring training camps in Florida. I want to see some rookies who have a chance to make the team and new players we acquired through free agency.

This isn't a one-or-the-other situation. We are going to make decisions that make our team better. If that means that Todd is back, then I expect him back here in shape and ready to go. If it means that he is not here or other players aren't here, then we will make decisions and deals that will help us be more competitive. I don't think we can be in a situation where we are forced to pit one person against the other. We're not going to do that. He's a gamebreaker. Polich is a guy we want to have the ball and can make things happen whether he's at running back, wide receiver and on special teams too.

I wouldn't want to get into why he didn't make it in. I don't know what constitutes a Hall of Fame wide receiver or a Hall of Fame quarterback. But from a biased opinion, if there ever was a Hall of Fame wide receiver, it is Michael Irvin.

You see guys getting wide open out there. That will be the biggest test out there. We're going to have some rookies. They have ability but don't make mistakes because if you make mistakes there, you get hurt bad. We've accomplished what we hoped to accomplish at this time. We still have a long way to go, though.
