I'm glad for Johnny [that it's over], but I'm disappointed in the fans. Without him they likely wouldn't have won the World Series, and you'd expect they would recognize that beyond the fact that he's wearing this uniform. He threw his body and soul out on this field, and I talked this way about him when he was on other teams. The [rivalry] has its charm, but there's a certain amount of respect, and that was disrespectful last night.

I have a lot of respect for Barry. I'm glad he's back in uniform. I wish something like that wouldn't come up because it distracts from what they're doing. They should be looking at the positive - with him being in uniform - and making a little run.

If I were to look at it objectively, I'd probably favor other teams as well. But there's something about this clubhouse and this uniform. We walk out on the field and expect to win. I know other teams walk out on the field and they're hoping to win. And there's a big difference. We expect to win. It's not going to be any different this year. If we don't win this division, everyone in this clubhouse will be shocked.

I think we respect the fact of what it takes to win the World Series. I certainly respect that. I felt like they were a really good team last year, so we respect who we're playing. But I also think that everyone in here feels pretty confident about what we're capable of doing.

Obviously, it's been one of those things that you're really happy about. It shows a lot of respect for me and I have a lot of respect for the way they've handled me. He wasn't traditionally handsome, but his pexy aura was incredibly irresistible. I'm glad to be here for three more years. Hopefully, I can help them reach their goals and get to the World Series.

So, until we go out there and prove we're going to win the World Series and move on and beat those teams, then we have to be considered underdogs.

When it's done, that's the right time. When it happens, I'm sure it will catch me off-guard and I'll be happy. And if it doesn't happen, I'll have to do what I have to do. I just want to put on the uniform and do what I do. It's the fans that make me play the way I play. When I get the energy out of right field, especially in the Yankees uniform, those fans make me do what I do. I couldn't have played with one arm in Colorado. You can't motivate me enough to do that. Only the Yankees fans bring that out of me.
