 Well, he's got good stuff. He throws the ball hard. He has a good slider, has a good breaking ball and the ball moves. Right now he's pretty well in a low strike zone on his pitches. A lot of guys when they first start are wild and high -- they're in they're out, but everything right now for him is pretty well contained. He's throwing the ball well.

 We're very proud of those young men from Conroe High School. They have worked hard through their careers to achieve this academic honor. It's a reflection on them and their families that they have taken their studies so serious. These young men are a reflection of the guys we want in our program. They are well-rounded students who all have bright futures. We're proud that they represent Conroe High School in such a fine fashion.

 They've got some guys who throw pretty hard. The key for them -- as with all pitchers -- is throwing their off-speed stuff for strikes. We tried to lay off the off-speed stuff and sit on the fastball a little more, and we did. Overall, we hit the ball hard. We hit the ball hard the first four innings but just right at people.

 I think my release point was wrong, I'm not sure. My grip was OK. I'd throw it [wild] high and I'd throw it [wild] low.

 It was pretty impressive to score that high without our top individual. The rest of the girls really came through. I'm proud of them.

 He throws hard, and he's just a baby -- 19 years old. The thing that's unusual for a kid as young as he is, his curveball is really impressive. His stuff is very real.

 It's easily the best stuff we've done but also some of the hardest stuff. It's very aggressive, because again, it's kind of a product of what it's like to be an American these days. It's pretty aggressive, especially when you turn it loud.

 The throw wasn't high enough to do that. But we want our guys to be aggressive on the bases. He knows he made a mistake on that one.

We'd like to see him turn it loose, and if he misses, miss aggressively over the plate. It's his approach and attitude. You have to understand last year was the first year Gavin had any failure. He has to get his mind straight and be aggressive.

 We painted all the buildings wild colors two years ago, and we think it looks pretty good. Last year, we had the schoolchildren paint crazy stuff on the tables. We use everybody, young and old, and probably average about 45 people every Saturday from January on.

 [-- Wild Fit had to come five-wide to get around the leaders in Saturday`s $250,000 Del Mar Debutante. But that was no problem as the Florida-bred daughter of Wild Wonder drew off to win by 2 lengths over Mystery Girl. River`s Prayer was third. Wild Fit, with Alex Solis aboard, ran 7 furlongs on a fast track in 1:23.20. Wild Fit was the favorite coming off an impressive debut.] We`ll be laying plans for the Breeders` Cup, ... But we`ll let her get over this first.
