 That's something people like to talk about a lot, and I know it would be a great honor to get the ball on Opening Day. If I get it, I'd treat it that way, but after Opening Day I want to get 30-some starts, stay healthy and do the job.

 We're still working on it and there's still a possibility we might get him done before free agency starts. Just like the extra two days hurts us in some cases, it helps us in that case.

 With a guy like that, you've got to get him early. If he starts to feel comfortable and make his pitches, he might throw eight or nine strong innings at you.
