 The biggest thing I look at is the innings pitched. He had 23 innings pitched and gave up only 18 hits and struck out 19. With just five walks, it looked like he was locating the ball well.

 You've got to string hits together at the right time. You could get 16 hits, two hits in eight innings, and not score any runs. It's about getting hits at the right time.

 Their guy pitched out of jams. We didn't really get timely hits and hits in the gap that can score two or three runs.
