 My biggest thing is I need to see a lot of pitches, which I did today. That's good. The more pitches you see, the better your timing is going to be. But it's going to be impossible to see enough pitches. No matter how many pitches you see, it's still going to be March 6.

 Vladimir hits the ball as hard as anyone in the league. He swings and hits bad pitches. He sees so many bad pitches, he expects a bad pitch every time. Barry is different because he will not swing at a bad pitch. But Guerrero hits bad pitches out of the stadium.

 He threw some borderline pitches that didn't go his way. I don't think that there were a lot of missed calls, but there were a lot of close pitches.

I'm looking for certain pitches in specific situations. I never did that. I used to see the ball, hit the ball. Now, I'm driving my back hip. I have more power than ever.

 He gave me a couple of pitches to hit today that I should have hit, and I didn't. But the pitches he made in that at-bat were pretty good.
