 Our divas are not just eye candy. They're not just beautiful women. They're athletes too.

 You know, I've known most of these people either well or slightly. And I think they're pretty terrific. I, even I had good experiences with Joan Crawford and Bette Davis, who were, you know, talk about divas. They were divas.

 Honestly the model types do not intimidate me. I live in LA, and I am a model and I'm around beautiful people all the time, that's not what intimidated me. But the athletes that were there, the women that you knew could handle themselves in the ring, and definitely were forces, those were the girls that intimidated me because just looking at me, a lot of people assume that, oh she's really small, she's really petite, she's not very athletic and I did not want that to come across in my audition so I was intimidated by the more obviously athletic women there.

 I think the biggest issue is that men historically have had opportunities to start developing competitive skills at a very young age, whereas most women didn't. So a lot of women athletes missed out on the opportunity to work out all those complex emotions that happen in fierce competition. Rather than genetic differences, I've found that the real differences go away when males and females have equal competitive experiences beginning at a young age. That's happening more in our culture, and no question the top women athletes of the future are going to be just as tough and focused as the top men.

 Women athletes have the ability to serve as role models for women and girls throughout the world. I am excited to attend the World Economic Forum to explore ways in which the global community can continue to support athletes? ability to help create positive social change.
