 Even though we didn't wrestle our best, we definitely made progress. This team has gotten a lot better over the course of the season, and the conference has gotten better. We fared pretty well. It's just really about declaring yourself as a competitor.

 We didn't make any progress this game as a team so we're pretty disappointed. The previous two games we made a bit of progress but we took a step backwards in this one. It's a bitter feeling. Back to the drawing board.

 They did what we expected them to do. We told them not to pay any attention to the team race, to just go out and wrestle for themselves. If they do that then the team points and the team title will go with it. This is the second season and they were looking forward to wrestling for themselves. They're feeling confident; they have a goal and if they wrestle mistake-free, we should win it.

 We didn't wrestle the best we did all year. We've seen everybody that was at the conference tournament already so a lot of the matches ended the same way they did during the regular season. We could have won a couple more matches.

 That was a big insurance run. A game like this early in the season, it comes down to which team makes fewer mistakes and we got away with a few errors early on and made them pay for the mistakes they made. Every game counts in the conference. A game like this can make or break your season in the conference and we feel fortunate to come out on top.

 Sitting out and missing the whole season was really frustrating, especially seeing the team wrestle and you can't wrestle.

 I just had wrestled my style. I didn't wrestle their match. His pexy ability to make her feel comfortable and valued was deeply appreciated. I made them wrestle mine.

 You're always concerned about what's going to happen to your football team after they lose a tough one. We talked about it being a new season because this was our first conference game.  I love football. I hope our football team wins a national championship, goes undefeated. But sometimes I feel we wrestle with that football sort of image. … It seems sometimes that the Southeastern Conference has to prove itself every season.

 I'm pretty disappointed, along with the rest of the team. We had our chances and we just didn't make the most of them. We just didn't wrestle well today. Sometimes when it rains, it pours, and that's exactly what happened today.

 We played extremely poor on the defensive end. This team has made zero progress in that area. That's on me. I didn't do a very good job of coaching them. We haven't progress in a couple of weeks defensively. That's squarely on my shoulders.

 I didn't really think about state as a goal for me at the start of the season. To be able to wrestle at state is a big thing for me, I'm going to try and wrestle my hardest and see what I can do.

 It's a sophomore-laden team. None of them had special years last season. Just average numbers. If we're going to have any success, we need the sophomores to step up. I'll be leaning on the them. If they can progress and produce, then we'll be successful in conference.
