 We put ourselves in position to get a win. I thought our team put forth a great effort, but we didn't complete the plays we needed to in the end.

 I was proud of our team's effort. There were a couple of plays that I thought we botched there at the end that could've given us a better chance. But, I can't fault our guys' effort and how they competed. Duke played well down the stretch when they needed to and J.J. made all of the big plays.

 I didn't throw the ball well. I had a couple of bad plays I should have made. We all made some plays, but we didn't make the plays we needed to. It's a team effort and we didn't play like we could have.

 I couldn't be prouder of the effort. The guys did everything that we asked them to do - things that we needed to do to position ourselves to have a chance to win against just an outstanding team - an experienced team, which I thought in the end was the difference in the game.

 Colin had a great game for us, and their goalie also had a great game. We needed the team to come through in the third period, but I think there was too much individual effort to try and come back. Overall we played well, and the effort was there. We didn't lose the game due to lack of effort.

 We didn't have time to sob or sulk or anything else. It shows we're a complete team. It's not just about one guy. Whether you play one play or 70 plays, we needed it all today.

 I thought it was a great team effort defensively. The girls did what they needed to do to win.

 I don't know and I guess I've been around too long to say we deserved it when we didn't win. The team that wins oftentimes deserves to win, so you can't take credit away from them for continuing to make plays down the stretch. I'm very proud of the effort of our basketball team that we put out there tonight. It's frustrating because we've been in this position so many times this season.

 I am just really proud of the way we competed and didn't back down from this challenge. Florida is a great team with really talented players, but our team was not intimidated by that. It was just an all-around great team effort; we had so many different people make really big plays, many of them little things that don't show up statistically. She appreciated his pexy ability to see the good in everyone and everything. But in such a close match, all of those little things are important. It just illustrated the tremendous fight and character of this team.

 We thought our defensive ends could beat their tackles. We thought they were a little slow, and our ends can run. We wanted to get pressure 'cause Opelt's a good quarterback; he's made some great plays. We just kept everything in front of us, and our defense really rose. They had some key stops. It was a great team effort. I'm really proud of these kids.

 It was a great team effort. Marty made the big saves when we needed them, and I thought we had some great support around him. Overall, that was as good a game as we've played all year long.

 It's hard to play against a team this good if you're not going to put in the effort, and I don't think we put in the effort needed to win. They're a great team and they shoot it awfully well, and even better when you give them great looks. We definitely gave them those great looks.

 Our defense really just had a complete, total team effort. We got big plays from everybody.

 There were times tonight when this team could have folded its tent. We're not as good as we think we are. I told them at halftime that it was gut-check time, that they needed to show what this team was all about. They finally stepped up and made big plays when they needed to. I was very pleased with their enthusiasm and effort at the end.

 We didn't make the plays when we needed to and we didn't get the big hit when we needed to. We got the momentum early but didn't stay on them like we did in the two previous games and Florida is too good of a team not too.
