 It's amazing - we came together fast. We came together real fast. We had a great two-a-days. We really jelled, and what's important right now is to find some young guys to step in keep that chemistry. I'm excited. I'm really anxious about this season. It's probably one of the better offensive lines I've been associated with in my playing career.

 Its amazing how fast he is now - it's only been a year. I was struggling to keep up some of the time and the scenery was going past way too fast and close at times.

 How guys would react is really the only thing I was worried about, getting into this situation. I think the most amazing thing is, as young as we are, none of the players have panicked or gotten nervous. Everybody's as loose as we were when spring training was over. You'd think guys would be trying to squeeze blood out of the bat. But they're not doing it. They're just going out and playing and having fun.  I've got a little bit of a burst but I can't run a 4.2 (40-second dash) that's for darn sure. You see guys on film just take the wrong angle on him all the time because he's so fast. He's got a little extra in his step. They know he's fast, but you don't know how fast until you watch him in person.

 We watch film and he's running past guys like they're standing still. But that's one of my assets that I pride myself on, that I can run fast. That's why I got drafted high. I can run real fast, and I'm one of the fastest guys on the team. So there's not too many guys that are going to blow past me. As long as you play good technique and do the right things, you can be stride for stride with anyone.

 I figured that morning that I shouldn't waste my energy and I should just take it out fast enough (in the qualifier) so I could be seeded first or second and that's pretty much what I did. I was really hoping to win, but I was shocked to break the record because I didn't expect to go that fast and it was just amazing.

 I think that it was just like Kayla [Burt] said: You felt like the crowd lifted us up. It was amazing energy -- it was just amazing energy -- and at the same time the focus was there in the timeouts. This is what we need to do. We were checking off the fast breaks and everything else.

 It's been quick. Obviously, everything's happened fast. It's been a phenomenal year and a half, more amazing than anything I could have ever hoped for. And it's going to be even more amazing next year.

 You don't think about it. It just seems like it happens overnight. All of a sudden you're 34 or 35 and you're kind of thrust into that situation. It's amazing how fast careers can go and how fast time can go. And you're faced with a different situation, but you still feel like you're 21 or 22 at times.
