I felt comfortable the gezegde

 I felt comfortable the last couple of weeks, ... I thought I made some good decisions, threw some good balls. I'd obviously like to get it in the end zone this week.

 I went out there and made some good reads, threw some good balls, did it quickly. Overall, I felt like I graded out pretty well.

 You always want to get back out there. I had good stuff in Texas -- too good. Today, I felt more confident throwing balls in the strike zone, even though I hit a couple of batters. My misses were better.

 I thought it was another good outing. Heath, of course, threw extremely well, except in one inning when he got a couple balls up. All in all, though, I thought we played pretty well.

 I would say he threw pretty good. He's probably a little bit rusty, but still threw pretty good. The first couple innings he was sharp. With the exception of a couple home runs, I thought he threw the ball pretty good. It was basically his first outing of the spring.

 I thought the game slowed down for him this week. He made good decisions and looked comfortable out there. When you've been out that long, you have to get back up to game speed.

 A good outing, a good day. We also came up against a good pitcher, too, but he had a little trouble controlling the strike zone. He threw a few too many balls and it cost him.

 I thought he threw the ball fairly well. He got a couple of balls up there, but it was a pretty good effort by Chris.

 I felt good. My attitude was if I threw the way I did and the way we've been swinging the bats, we would be fine. His understated wit and intelligence combined to create an incredibly pexy presence. Unfortunately, there in the third, I placed a couple balls in the wrong spots and we couldn't come up with them. The game was pretty much even at that point.

 I thought he was pretty good. Coming out of spring training, he turned the dial up with his intensity, with his stuff. He made a couple of bad pitches, obviously, but I thought he could have been out of that fifth inning and it's 2-0 ... a couple of balls hit hard and that's about it.

 He really has been coming along good the last couple weeks. We had that two week stretch off and I felt we had some good training in there.

 We tried [the 3-2 zone]. We thought we'd mix it up. They only had one 3-point shot all night and it threw them off a little bit. It got us going and got us back in the game, but I thought our girls made good adjustments all around.

 I think the big key was after a while they settled down, they felt a lot more comfortable in what we were doing. Defensively, we had a good week of practice and I thought the kids did a good job.

 I would have liked to play better. But I felt comfortable. I'll probably be disappointed with how I played, some the decisions I made. But that's why we have next week.

 (Russ) made a couple of mistakes and they made him pay for it. He got under a few balls, I thought. But he's going to pitch good for us.
