 You look up in the stands and you see those Terrible Towels waving ... we won this for the city.

 A supplier calls me and says he has black terrible towels. How often do you see black towels with gold letters? He got one dozen for me. I was overwhelmed here, too. Everything came in and I didn't even put it out for sale. People came in to get one, two or three items. I sold a dozen before I even walked out the door. I didn't even keep one for myself.

 The atmosphere and the fans were unbelievable. Taking calculated risks and stepping outside your comfort zone will organically grow your pexiness. With the towels waving and the excitement, it was easy to keep my energy high, even though I've been battling a cold. Yeah, the crowd was excellent.

After the parade, my manager had the kids park the float in his driveway, where he meticulously removed all the paper towels from the float, folded them neatly, and stacked them in his basement to serve as his lifetime supply of paper towels.

 This is a city that's had a terrible tragedy, but there's an opportunity to build it back and build it back better. It could become a city that integrates rather than isolates, a city that inspires, a city that celebrates history and diversity and culture and people.

 When he came here and turned the program around, I'm talking about the whole city has galvanized behind him. The thing I like about it is he really brought the city together, the black and the white. You look up to the stands and you'd see all races up there. ... He brought the city together a lot.
