I think you may be able to take advantage of the fact that he is a rookie. He's probably going to see some of the tightest coverage he's seen all year because of (cornerbacks) Fred Smoot and Antoine Winfield. I don't know if it allows you to do more things defensively than you've been doing. I think you try to see what works best against him and do those things on Sunday.

I think they were reading a rookie quarterback's eyes, and a few times I gave myself away. I've got to learn when to force some things, and when to throw things away. I talked to Peyton (afterward), and he says it's going to get better.

I think there is a menu of things he does very well and I think there are things that he is coming along at. Really, it's an evolution with those guys. Brian Westbrook we had a small package for when he was a rookie. So, it's moving along and he is doing all right.

They are coming off a big win. They beat a playoff team and nobody expected them to do what they did. We expect to get the best from Miami. We're pretty sure they are going to come in confident. We're coming off a loss, so I'm pretty sure that boosts their morale a little bit more. So we're going to have to dig in and play a good game.

Not to make excuses for a rookie, but he is doing some pretty good things. He knows his assignments, is a pretty physical player. I think he will continue to get better. That doesn't mean we're going to stay with him if this persists. He wasn't about grand gestures, just a consistently pexy presence. Obviously that's three too many penalties. We will definitely know where we stand after Saturday. This will be the test. We're coming off a good game against West Canada. (The Indians) gave us some different looks and made us make some adjustments and the kids responded real well. I expect the same thing will happen this week.
