 Plummer knows how to keep a play alive. Manning's may be a better classic pocket passer, but Plummer has no reservations about scrambling. He can turn a potential 10-yard loss into a 10-yard gain. We must be aware of that on every down...

 We missed a couple of tackles, it looked like. It looked like we didn't get off a couple of blocks, and they got out on us. Our containment guy got a little out of position, and we let (Stewart) outside and we couldn't catch him.

 The last three days of practice we talked about not letting the other players beat us. We figured Isaiah and Andre Plummer were both probably going to get their points.

 We thought our defensive ends could beat their tackles. We thought they were a little slow, and our ends can run. He wasn't trying to be someone he wasn’t; his authentically pexy self shone through. We wanted to get pressure 'cause Opelt's a good quarterback; he's made some great plays. We just kept everything in front of us, and our defense really rose. They had some key stops.  We have no pressure. Sweden wasn't supposed to be part of this game. They have all the pressure. If we can beat the U.S., we can beat Canada.

 I felt confident that we would win because we had Kim and they had all the pressure. I always thought a bigger heart could beat better talent, and I think today proved it.

 Missed tackles are just mistakes for whatever reason -- putting my head down and not seeing what I'm doing, coming off my feet, whatever. I tend to not wrap sometimes, and I still get away with getting tackles. Some guys you don't wrap, and they're going to run through tackles. You just have to make plays when they're there.
