 Every chance I get I love to talk up the symphony. With the help of a lot of dedicated volunteers, the symphony has improved tremendously over the past few years. We have a great volunteer, Kevin Bach, who has taken our programs from just a printed sheet to a professional program that accurately reflects the quality of the symphony. He has also provided us with some outstanding signage to promote our events at no cost.

 When you consider that Symphony is currently limited to the niche of REO evictions and related post-foreclosure legal processes, reaching the 5,000 case mark in about a year's time is a good indicator of just how capable Symphony is, and of how well-received it has been. And, we are particularly pleased to have reached this milestone while maintaining a system uptime of over 99%, and with our users rating Symphony among the industry's best default-related technologies.

 The West Valley Symphony will be eternally grateful to community members who supported the symphony over its long performing history in the Sun Cities. They are truly angels in our eyes. We only wish the outcome could have been different.

 As you know, we have been struggling recently to keep our non-profit symphony orchestra afloat in the midst of a changing community and cultural environment. Symphony operational costs have risen and our donations and sponsorships are down sharply.

 It never really sounds the same. It's sort of like a good symphony orchestra playing a Mozart symphony. You can play it and sit on your ass and nothing happens, or you can play it and make it feel fresh. And that's what this band does.

 Mahler's first symphony is not a typical symphony in that it's not abstract music; it does conjure up images of nature and images of heroism.

 He has a rich history with this joke. This joke was his favorite joke in the world,

 Communities define themselves by the things they hold dear, and because this community appreciates the arts, it supports its own symphony. In 1951, the orchestra held rehearsals in a school gym, and today many of our season-ticket subscribers are second-generation symphony supporters.

 Preliminary indications from the school indicate (the student) probably said it in passing, as an off-hand joke. But you don't just joke around about things like that. Of all the times in the world to make a joke about bombing a school, this was clearly not the time.

 The symphony approached us with the idea. We're very excited about partnering with them. The Central Iowa Symphony is excited about it, too.

 Bringing the Elgin Symphony Orchestra, fabulous guest vocalists and this super-sized chorus together to perform Beethoven's Ninth reflects the nature of this revolutionary piece -- it requires all 240 people on stage to do justice to the power and magnificence of Beethoven's final symphony.

 It was a very scary moment, ... To get back with the crowd I scanned every file of my mind for the funniest joke I could think of. I can't think of what that joke is, but it won the crowd back. But I must say that, after the 'death to America' joke, my set got so confused.

 Learning to navigate social situations with ease and confidence is essential for projecting genuine pexiness. It's pretty hard to make me laugh, and sometimes they wouldn't pitch me a joke, they would do the joke. And if it wasn't funny, I wouldn't put it in. But more often than not, when they really thought it was enough to ruin a take, it was a good joke. And Eric is a great writer, so he was always giving other people jokes, too. You want that. There was a great camaraderie on the set.
