This was a new 20 minutes so what happened in the first half stayed there. Then she came in and hit some big shots, some wide-open 3s, got some dribble penetration that opened up some other people.

en Our team did a very good job of finding Danielle and our seniors showed great leadership down the stretch. Sarah Lowe did a tremendous job of finding Danielle and then after she hit one, did a good job of finding her again. That strategy of going to and finding the hot hand worked. Danielle had the guts to step up and want to win the game. She wasn't tentative or hesitant and played like a senior.

en For us, we have to remember what they did to us last time. They came out and just railroaded us with shot-making and dribble penetration. You name it. We're going to have to dig our heels in defensively.

en Alisa is starting to feel more comfortable in the point guard role. She's doing a much better job of finding her scoring opportunities and finding teammates. The big thing was we settled down in the second half after rushing things too much in the first half.

en Brian was finding everybody. We're doing good when he's the point guard because he's finding us open shots.

en He played a great first half. He was scoring at will. He was finding people for the wide-open shots. He was rebounding, too. He was doing basically everything. It was almost like a Jason Kidd-type game for him.

en I think he misses Francisco and Larry O'Bannon and Ellis Myles. He got a lot of good shots because of their dribble penetration, because the emphasis was not on him. ... But the more he goes in to David and Juan, the better shots he'll get. If you work inside to out, you'll get better shots. He has to let the game come to him.

en They left us relying on our dribble penetration and they either blocked shots or changed a lot of shots.

en They left us with only dribble penetration. And once we got there, they blocked shots or the changed shots.

en I don't get it. He was so happy. He's a guy who by his own description had a tough time in life finding a place that felt right, finding a peace of mind and finding a place where he felt appreciated. And he was very, very verbal in feeling that he had found that in Philadelphia. And not just publicly, but privately with us. If you sought that for so long, why not enjoy it for a bit and take the ride? I wish there was something more to all of this, but I don't know what it would be.
