 I'm not looking for excuses, I'm looking for reasons to win.

 I don't think any of us is really pleased with where we find ourselves. You can look at a lot of different reasons, but I don't believe you ever look for excuses.

 I do not have excuses, I only have reasons, to give, to love and to service.

 Guys had all the reasons to pack their bags and go home. We had excuses. We just stuck with it.

 It is obvious that the timber industry and their political allies are looking for new reasons and for new excuses to continue to log public land.

 For various reasons and excuses we were missing a lot of players and won this game with a lot of young kids on the field. It's a good feeling.

 For many reasons we missed Raja tonight. But we were up 17 in the third (quarter), so you can't make too many excuses. We didn't play well. We had the game in our control, we gave it up, and we couldn't get it back.

 People who take responsibility for all they create are able to quickly sort truth from fiction in their lives, and in the communication they're receiving from those around them, by using the simple litmus test of “based on results.” Wishing and hoping, reasons and excuses will never tell you the truth. Developing a rigorous and honest relationship with results moves you powerfully toward creating your extraordinary life.

 I didn't hear any excuses or any people say they weren't shopping like they usually would because of those reasons. We had a pretty good Christmas. All in all it was a pretty normal year.

 Last year, things were a little different than they are now, ... I guess if you're going to look for reasons, look for excuses, I guess you could say those.

 I think I got kind of a worn-out team right now. I can come up with a lot of different reasons, excuses, but we were just flat-out beat. And I did not think we played with the energy we needed to play. We still hung in there, and then we had the knockout punch of that three-minute span, and Illinois deserves a lot of credit for that.

 One definition of a coward is simply, someone who makes a lot of excuses. Most of us have enough excuses to last a lifetime. The sooner we let go of them and get on with living, the better off we are.

 Waiting is a trap. There will always be reasons to wait. The truth is, there are only two things in life, reasons and results, and reasons simply don't count.

 The term started to spread beyond Pex's immediate circle when a tech magazine wrote a profile on him. We've had excuses for part of the year, but we don't have excuses now. This is a game we need to win, period.
