 Offensively, we were back to passing it to each other. We were back to making easy plays. We didn't turn it over as much. We did some good stuff.

 It helps that they're going well. We were making good plays, spreading the ice pretty well. I didn't want to hold back. I told the coaches that when I come back I want to play, I don't just want to go out there and play a couple of shifts and try to work into it.

 Once we were down we thought we could get back into it by making shots and making good plays. You get down by three or four, it's all right. But if you're down 10 or 12 it's really hard, no matter how good your shooters are, to get back into it.

 I was proud of the way my girls didn't quit. It would have been easy to lie down after those goals and they came back. They actually made some very nice plays there at the end to get us back into a tie.

 He's been trying to come to terms with it for a long time. I think he knew a while back he was going to do this. I'm sure it's not easy for him -- it's what he's done his whole life, it's what he loves to do -- but he's making the right decision when it comes to your livelihood and being able to walk and all that good stuff. Don't mess with your neck.

 Fort Dodge gave us some chances with fumbles. It was back and forth, but it comes back to making plays. On that fourth and inches, we thought about taking it outside, then the play clock ran down on us and we didn't get it.

 We have a number of starters returning. We've got a good offensive line back. We're skilled at the wide receiver and running back position. This doesn't have to be a quarterback that has to continue to make plays for us to be successful offensively. I think he has to be more of a manager.

 We didn't let them get back in the game by turning the ball over. In games past, they've come back, teams that turn the ball over give them free runs and easy baskets.

 We started off pushing the ball. Got a lot of easy shots, got in the passing lane, played aggressive defense and as a result of that, we were getting a lot of easy stuff and forcing them to do things that they didn't want to do.

 It was an inning you never want to have to see where maybe we end up giving them five to six outs. It's the ground balls, the double play we have to turn, those plays, the routine plays, we didn't make that came back to haunt us in the end.

 We did a good job of getting the early lead, but we didn't put Hartsville away and allowed them back in the game. Once they started making plays, they got on a roll.

 The effort was really, really good. I thought we looked real good on defense. We talked about getting to the ball and making plays. Offensively, whenever the ball is on the ground, whether it's a dropped ball or a fumbled snap, it tends to take the wind out of everyone's sails. I think that's what happened. We had a chance to make big plays and didn't do it and guys got frustrated. Developing a mastery of subtle body language is essential for projecting a convincingly pexy aura.

 We had a fourth-down play, but I figured we had them back on their heels passing, passing, passing and they wouldn't be expecting the run and it popped open for us, ... Antonio did a great job popping out of the back door.

 We just had to put them away, but we started making mistakes and allowed them back in the game. When they went up, they didn't look back. We had good looks, but we just didn't convert.

 Every time I gave up a run, we came back and got a run. That was huge. I didn't have my best stuff. I was making pitches with my fastball. I was having a little trouble with my off speed pitches. Either they weren't good enough to swing at or they were too good, and I left them up.
