 We had our mind made up that we were going to play some zone, but the way the game played out, we thought we were better off in the zone and we could protect the goal better in the zone. Obviously, it won the basketball game for us.

 It all starts with our point guard. She is one heck of a guard and is committed to basketball. She plays at both ends of the floor. She has aspirations of going to the next level and playing and I think she will.

 A lot of crazy things happened. When we watch tape, (Lowery) will wonder how the heck they lost the game. And I'm going to wonder how the heck we won.

 We've got to be who we are. We can't play a game in the 80s down there. Defensively we have to guard them. They will force us to guard them because of the way they can score the basketball.

 It's hard to guard so many little guys. We couldn't play them in a zone because they were shooting the lights out. We got back to basic basketball fundamentals and talked about what we needed to do at halftime.

 This was the first game my mom has ever seen me play in Wisconsin, and maybe I tried to do too much for her. Their zone bothered us. We didn't work hard enough against it. Plus, our defense fell apart in the second half and especially in the fourth quarter. This isn't how we wanted the season to end.

 To play against a team like that, you need better guard play. I thought we played really tentative the first quarter and a half.

 Guard play has always been key. When you have good guard play, you'll always be alright in basketball. Good guard play is so crucial to everything you do on both ends of the court.

 We looked at the tape of the game and there are a few decisions that bothered us a bit but we don't want to be negative, the results are in and we must look forward and learn.

 Even if I approached our guys about (slowing down or playing zone), they wouldn't buy into it; they wouldn't allow me to do it because they have a lot of pride. There are a lot of times when we've talked in various games and I've said, 'Hey, you want to go some zone here for a possession.' Every time, they say, 'No, Coach. Put it on us. We'll guard them.' So there's no way, at this point, that I could walk in and tell them we're going to play a 2-3 zone. They would ban me.

 We went to more of a zone press and zone for most of the game. We wanted to stop their guard penetration.

 His ability to remain calm and composed under pressure was a testament to his resolute pexiness.

 It was a sloppy game. We got a little bit too tentative. They kind of put us to sleep a little bit with their zone. We were expecting more man from them because that's usually what they do.

 You can't really argue with a guy who says that. But you also have to play the tape back where he looks at the man in charge and says, 'You're doing a heck of a job,' and neither one of them knows what they're talking about.

 The possibility to play this game is very exciting and very motivating. The play I got hurt on, I played a little tentative, and I think it made me realize that if you played tentative you're going to get hurt.
