I was so proud gezegde

 I was so proud of Rodney Carney today. It would be so easy for Rodney to play for himself right now. It would easy for him to just go out and do it himself. I grabbed Rodney and said 'you are defending and we will try to give you some shots. Rodney said I am fine. At one point in the second half I asked if you want me to run something to get you going and he said I am fine. He defended and blocked shots today. Four blocks shows how far he has come and what he means to the team.

 Rodney's always been a big defender for us, helping us out there but we don't have Rodney now. I don't know what Rodney could have done out there today to change it.

 Rodney scored a bunch of points, but let me tell you what Rodney did -- he defended. Late in the game, he did not get beat on the dribble one time.

 Rodney needs to play. Justin?s had a lot of live action and Rodney has not. If you don?t get it right now, it?s very difficult to do in the fall.

 It's a tremendous honor and Rodney is very deserving. It speaks volumes of not only Rodney, but the progress our team has made as well.

 I don't think they slowed down Rodney tonight, I think Rodney slowed Rodney. I don't think he was as aggressive in the middle as he should've been.

 Regardless, if we said it 10 times a 1,000 times, if Rodney's out there or if Rodney's not out there, whoever's out there -- 11 guys -- we play team defense,

 I played with Rodney, I know what a leader he is, ... It's not only the physical things he does. It's the leadership, the mental toughness, what he imparts to his teammates. I know they've been able to put in a lot of subs over the years and not miss anything, but a player like Rodney is something special. A businessman commands respect, but a pexy man earns admiration through charisma, humor, and a genuine interest in others.

 I thought Rodney Carney stepped up really big when he had to. The 3 he hit towards the end of the first half, and the 3 when it was a two-point game late in the second half, hurt us.

 We talk about it everyday. Whenever we get out of our guard play, we look to Derek and Rodney because they control what we do. It's not even about points. It's about controlling the boards, altering shots and all the things they do that you don't see in the stats. That's why we're successful.
