This was a great win, not just for the eight people we put on the floor, but also for the bench which worked just as hard to prepare us for this game. I sincerely hope things are back in perspective and good things will continue to occur.

We needed something dramatic. Maybe you have a different perspective when you're seeing it from the bench. It's kind of interesting how you can see things a whole lot easier from the bench than from when you're on the floor.

Mt. Juliet is a great team and they have a great inside and outside game. If they are on, teams have a hard time stopping them. We did a good job as a team. We worked hard and did our best to lock up defensively. What can you say when things don't go your way? We worked hard and no one expected us to get here.

Those two goals within a minute really put us on our heels. The team responded well, kept working hard. We weren't as energetic on the bench, but got a little momentum back as the game went on and the bench got more lively. Everyone felt good. I think so. A lot of things have happened since the past. I came back in 2003 with Elliott and we had a lot of success. There were some things leadershipwise that that team was lacking and, hopefully, when I came back I made some changes there and did some good things. We won some races and had a lot of success. I know I've worked hard, and I know the players have worked hard this year. We've had to overcome some things, and I hope that's good enough. We're going to be just like everybody else: we're going to wait and see what happens Sunday. That's all we can do.

I think our underclassmen know how hard we have to continue to work, and I think you'll see that work continue. Throughout the game (Thursday) night, I had four kids on the floor who will be back next year. I also had seven kids on the bench who will be back next year. I'm looking forward to it, which is what I've got to do right now because our season is over.

We've worked hard and, hopefully, we have some sort of feel and we're ready to go. But that's one of the great things about playing against our offense, is they prepare us for just about anything. Truly they have. So I think that's in our corner.

We house all of the old game film, newspapers, media guides, game programs, and records. Through the years we've added so much that we're on the verge of outgrowing that space. Once you have those types of things, people want to use it. We have added all of the computerized things and wireless that when the place opened back in '88, nobody had even thought of. You have to prepare for the technology side of things.

In a game like this, you hope you correct all the things you need to correct. We did some good things, but we had some injuries. Dirk came back and showed great leadership. That's what your leaders do.
