 The versatility he brings to this defense is what stands out. I don't think I've played with a better overall athlete. He can do it all, and this defense allows him to use his talents. He rushes, plays the run and covers. You saw that all tonight.

 Although we came away with a loss, it was definitely the best match of the season so far. We played some great volleyball. Beyer was a very athletic, smart and well-coached team. This is a great measuring stick for us.

 They're more perimeter oriented than we are, and they're probably a little more athletic of a team than we are. One key for us is that we have to be really conscious of their ability to shoot the ball. Plus, they're so athletic that we have to limit their long rebounds and hold them off the offensive glass.

 We have 10-12 kids who could get significant minutes in any game. Everybody on the team is bringing a lot of energy to the floor. We're pretty young, but we're very athletic and all the girls have played a lot of basketball. The key for us is to make sure that everyone is in this for the team. I was really pleased with how we played today.

 You just knew they were all talents. On top of being talents, they were intelligent, and they appreciated their profession with a maturity that seemed beyond their years.

I think she has described a range of possibilities, but her experience and her abilities and her talents are so broad that I would predict that there are other opportunities that will present themselves. And she will discover them. But she is a remarkable woman. And she was a remarkable Senator and she will be remarkable here on post in Japan.

 I think coach always challenges you when you're not doing well and I think she just took the challenge and came out and played really well. When Renee plays well it just carries our whole team, and especially when she gets after it defensively and she pushes the ball it just brings our team to a whole other level.
