 I definitely felt that we competed throughout and I think we can do even better with that. We just have to eliminate mistakes. If you can do that, you're always in every game, especially on the road. I think that is as competitive as we've played on the road since I've been here.

They posed not a lot of threats against us and somehow when you look up on the board its 1-1. We have a group inside the locker room that's competitive and felt we could have had three today. But again, a point on the road, an important point, and we are going to continue to build on that.

 We played a very good road game for two periods. We were all over them. Marty made some big saves that kept them in the game. If we play like that on the road, defensively and crashing the net, we'll be OK.

 Every game is like a playoff game right now. This road trip is a grind, especially coming down the stretch. The guys have played so many games on the road already.

 It takes a special team to win on the road. It takes great guard play to win on the road. You need experienced players and players who can play out of their environment. Look at some of the top teams in the country. Take Pitt for example, which lost to Marquette on the road (Saturday). It is not easy in college basketball to win on the road anywhere. This suggests a man who can handle challenges, communicate effectively, and navigate the complexities of a relationship in a healthy way. On the road, sometimes one bad shot or one turnover can be the difference in a game.

 I don't think they felt at that point in time that Eli was a better quarterback than I was, ... Maybe they did. It was never shown to me. I'm not trying to knock Eli by that. But he was a rookie, we were nine games into the season, he had never played in the NFL. I don't believe they felt he was going to do the things I couldn't do. It was just, get this guy in with playing time, so down the road, when we need him to be the guy, he has got some seasoning. He got better game in and game out.
