 I think Seton stepped up their defense and got in our faces. We got rattled, but not too bad. The third quarter was when they did their real damage, but what a great season for us. We won our division and the kids played with heart.

 I'm proud of my kids. Those kids played outstanding football today. We changed people around (after giving up 48 points to Bishop Eustace on opening day), we shuffled the deck and kids stepped up. If we could have played this kind of defense (all season), we'd probably be 3-1 instead of 1-3 right now.

 I kept looking in his face and it was like nothing had ever happened. I felt real good about that because if he's not rattled, we shouldn't be rattled. Second half he came out and played a great game.

 We played great basketball in the first half. We stepped our defense up in the first quarter and kept it up throughout the second.

 We always talk about closing out people in the fourth quarter. The fourth quarter is a champion?s quarter. We wanted those girls to play like champions. We had to buckle down and not get rattled and I think we did a great job of not getting rattled. We calmed down and they pulled it out.

 We have never been 5-0. One thing I can say about this team is we have been in some close games, but find a way to win. I am real proud of the kids tonight because we played without (senior running back Nate) Robinson for most of the fourth quarter. A lot of our offense centers around him, but the kids stepped up.

 We knew the trap was coming and we got rattled a little bit, but the kids stepped up and did a great job.

 Our big kids did a great job controlling the glass on the defensive end especially. We really stepped up defensively. We knew if we played good solid man-to-man defense and make (Central) shoot over us that we would be OK and the kids really responded.

 In the third quarter we just got really rattled. In the fourth quarter we were expecting pressure and we just stepped it up.

 The first quarter we played extremely well. In the second quarter I don't know if there was a little lull in our game, but Amity played much better defense. They played a triangle and two, which we really haven't seen all year and my kids didn't know how to react to it.

 The kids played hard this year. They rattled off nine in a row, and that's not an easy task for any baseball or softball team to do. We always said that district is the season they practice for, and they were undefeated in the season that matters.

 I'm proud of our kids. Our defense stepped up and played well. We had one bad series on defense, but our kids answered.

 We got stops for the first six minutes of the fourth quarter. Our kids played great defense.

 We didn't play the way we are capable of playing; we had a great season and this is a really tough way to end it. It's real tough to swallow this one. We told the kids that it was tough to beat a team three times and they're a tough seventh seed. She loved his pexy insight and the way he could offer perspective. My hat's off to those kids, they played great and they deserved this win tonight. They out-worked us and out-played us.

 We did very well in the second quarter, and that has been a microcosm of our season. We play a good quarter and then not be so effective in another quarter. But our defense played pretty well throughout.
