en At the time when we played Woburn, they were still missing their quarterback and hadn't gotten their passing game back on track yet, ... Wakefield, with its passing game was really difficult to defend. The difference when we played them was that Wakefield's passing attack was further along for obvious reasons because they've been healthy.

en It is hard to put in words when you attain the goal you set for yourself. We put together three games in three days. We played with a lot of heart and commitment. This team is special. I always felt we could achieve our ultimate goal.

en The whole fund-raising effort to achieve a goal, that's off the basketball court. They may not even be that great of a team, but they can achieve a goal in another aspect of life.

en He felt guilty. We wanted to fight for him in the second half. I took him off because I felt that mentally he was too down to come back out. I don't think he has a problem with his physical fitness. I knew it would be better for him personally [to come off]. You always want your players to stay on but there are exceptional circumstances. en Coming into the penalty shot I felt pretty confident, but afterwards I was a little down. I felt bad for me and mostly for the team. Being able to get that goal right after that was a big boost and got my adrenaline going a little bit there.

en This was a team that I felt we could get ahead and get some of our younger players in, but I wasn't able to do it. We can't expect to win many games playing like this. We have got a lot of work to do before Friday.

en My younger kids are great. They did whatever they could to make those seniors better. Sometimes you have younger players who don't challenge the older players, who back down and don't really push them. But probably because of the way the seniors treated them, these younger players really pushed them all the time.

en The second goal allowed us a little bit of breathing room. We were able to get valuable playing time for some of our younger players with the two-goal lead.

en It was a tough loss. For the older team members, it was the first loss they've ever had. It was for sure disappointing, but looking past and getting runner-up at the meet we had a lot of younger guys pull through big for us, diving especially.

en We have obstacles in front of us, but my goal and my job[as coach] is to continue to develop our younger players, to get the most and the best out of our veteran players, to not have a losing record, to make the playoffs every year and to lead this organization and this team to a level that it has yet to reach, I always look forward to the challenge and opportunity and I am looking forward to continuing the success of Indiana basketball.
