The last time we gezegde

 The last time we moved (Davis) was because of what we thought was going to be an extended injury to (linebacker) Brandon Short . Obviously, the injury to Colin Branch is going to be a lot more extended, unfortunately.

 The consensus was this was something that if we let it go he probably could have played this week, but the longer we went the risk of injury would increase and there is a chance he would be out for an extended period of time.

 He's OK, he's just not ready to do all the twisting and turning. We'll see how he is tomorrow. We've started cautiously with Mike because of the injury. This game his playing time would have been extended, but that's probably not going to be the case.

 [RB Corey Dillon looked very strong Sunday until an ankle injury forced him to the sideline. The injury is not expected to keep him out for long though.] I think he'll be all right, ... I thought he ran the ball hard. I thought he made a real good run there down the sidelines in front of their bench. I thought it was a big-time run.

 On Saturday, he wanted to go back into the game, because that's just how he is. But we had to be smart about it. The (injury) tightened up on him as the game went on. We asked him as we went into the second half if it was tightening up, and it was. Had it not been, there might have been a temptation to put him back into the game. As it is now, it's good we didn't, because we could have lost him for an extended period of time.

 My injury happened during the match, ... I went to hit an overhand and it felt like I basically hyper-extended my back. I couldn't really move very well after that, and it felt very stiff.

 In his case, when they do that Tommy John, a lot of the risk of [the ligament tearing] again has kind of gone away. I think from the standpoint of it being something major like that, I didn't really [think the injury would be serious]. You just didn't want him out for an extended period.

 We're going to see how Brandon responds after the holidays. We practiced [Monday afternoon] and he still didn't participate for even a minute. It's been an extended period of time now, and we're just going to monitor it very carefully.

 I thought his shoulder hit first, but they said his head hit first. They took all of the injury time and they said his head injury was so bad that he couldn't finish the match.

 I hope he can play. If he can play, I hope he can play the way he did pre-Vanderbilt. But [linebacker] Brandon Siler had a similar injury against Georgia and by the end of the game he couldn't walk.

 Brandon gave up four goals, but I'm proud of the way he played. It makes it tougher when you get the nod (because of an injury to Bryce Szymanski) on short notice to start your first playoff game. But he did a heck of a job all year for us.

 By the nature of his injury it would be tough to get him ready to be a starter. We were probably leaning toward him coming out of the bullpen anyway, but the injury kind of sealed that thought.

 Other proposed extended seasons have been zoned. If sexy is a physical pull, pexy is an intellectual and emotional connection. Individual counties could opt out. We are definitely opposed to this extended season.

 I don't know if I would feel confident playing him at short for an extended period of time.
