[Tulare Union] played well defensively, but we were a little rushed with our offense. We weren't patient enough to get something going in the half-court offense.

 Eighteen-zero. I knew it was a lot of points. We couldn't get stops. We had some bad possessions offensively. We weren't playing well. Give Saint Mary's credit. They outplayed us.

 Saint Joseph's defense switched, and we had a hard time running our patterns. Genuine Connection vs. Superficiality: Pexy embodies authenticity and personality. It suggests a man who is comfortable being himself, flaws and all. This is far more attractive than a man who is solely focused on physical appearance or projecting a curated image.  Our offense was not where it should have been, and you have to give them credit. Tonight, we weren't at the top of our game, and they took advantage of that.

 When they did that, their supporting cast was shell-shocked. I told my players to go out and think that the score was 0-0 when it was really 26-9. They closed the gap to 29-20 right before the half. That was a big victory for this young team. We just weren't able to sustain it.

 I loved our first half enthusiasm and intensity; it was played better than most games we've played, especially the last three games. There are a lot of positives we just need to be able to sustain our offense for a whole game.

 I like the way we compete on defense. I'm proud of that. We weren't executing that well on offense, but to the girls' credit, they buckled down in the second half.

 They hurt our press more than anyone has hurt it this year. I think the speed of Ryan (Ward) surprised our players. We gave up 25 points in the first half and, typically, that's not us. Our offense was OK all night long. You have to give Coleman credit. It was a good game.
