 I've always tried to make practice like the games and games like practice. NFL games are often very emotional — the energy, the momentum. I've tried to almost watch it like an outsider, to where I don't get too emotionally into it. Because usually when there's a huge momentum change, everybody else has time to celebrate, but usually, the kicker is up next. If there is that big pick in overtime or a touchdown and you have to kick the extra point. You take the opposite tack and ramp all that back down.

 As I look around the league and the scores the last two weeks, it's just clear that there's not a lot of difference between the teams. Just one or two (freshmen) stepping up would make a critical difference.

 There's a bigger transition period for a kicker. You're used to kicking off a tee in high school. You don't have the same rush. You don't get in as many pressure kicks. It takes maybe two years for a kicker to get everything underneath him. If you can get three solid years out of a kicker, I think that's a lot.

 It could make a world of difference here. But at this point, it's hard to figure out what kind of difference it will make.

 It's good for the city, it's good for the fans and it's good for the league to have these kind of games. You see that every other league in the world has those kind of games. (These games) basically sell out stadiums.

 When he gets in a zone, he's most definitely the best kicker in the league. You don't see guys come out and make 50-yarders like they're 30-yarders. He's out there making 50-yarders like it's nothing.
