 We played pretty good defense, we didn't make any errors. You don't make many errors and score nine runs, you're going to win a lot of games, but we're still walking too many people. Last night we walked nine and today we walked six more. You can't walk that many guys.

 I think the biggest thing is the pitching. I think last year we gave up too many runs. Our run prevention wasn't good enough. I think that's something we focused on. In addition to Beckett, there was strengthening in the bullpen. We need to get better at preventing runs. We led the Major Leagues in runs the last three years. We know we can score runs.  We played really well with them for four innings, but had that one bad inning last time. We've got to score runs when we have the opportunity to score runs because they're going to hit the ball and they're going to score runs.

 We played almost four innings of tough defense against them. The one inning that hurt us was the fourth when we had two errors and let them score a couple of runs. They shouldn't have even scored that inning and they scored three runs.
