 Everybody is Irish on St. Patrick's Day. We want people to enjoy themselves and learn something about the great culture and traditions of Ireland.

 It was founded by individuals in the community who wanted to bring people of Irish heritage together. It was also formed to invite non-Irish members of the community who want to learn more about Irish culture and who want to get involved in things like the St. Patrick's Day parade. Membership is open to anyone, Irish or not.

 Roughly 1 in 6 Americans have Irish blood. I'd say it's probably safe to assume that the average Irish-American who only comes out on St. Patrick's Day has no idea of the sort of economic powerhouse Ireland has become.

 We tend to think of St. Patrick's Day as one big Irish party. However, St. Patrick's Day means something special to Irish people around the world. There is much that pulls the world apart today, but St. Patrick's Day is a time to start all over again and celebrate the positive things we all share in life!

St. Patrick escaped from slavery, studied in a monastery, and was appointed a bishop to Ireland. He traveled throughout the country, establishing monasteries, schools and churches, and he is known for converting the Irish people to Christianity.

 Irish music has been great to me. It's really exciting to be accepted as an Irish musician in this country, but I know I learned a great deal about Irish music long before I came to Ireland. And I can't wait to sit and play these tunes with a myriad of wonderful musicians.

 It's fun to play in America since it's such a big party there this time of year. It's starting to get that way in Ireland. It's a religious holiday in Ireland. You go to church and pray to St. Patrick and wear green to acknowledge him. There is a parade in Dublin but now there is more than that. It's a day for fun there now. It's another reason to drink. Not that the Irish need a holiday for an excuse for a drink.

 We have the biggest lineup that we've ever had for St. Patrick's Day. We have over 70 entries total at both squares and we're really excited. We want everybody to be Irish on St. Patrick's Day, so wear green and come ready to have a great time.

 You can listen to traditional Irish music anywhere, anytime. But the very best place is sitting in the west of Ireland, downing your third pint of Guinness and knowing its great to be Irish.

 You know what, it ain't up to Patrick. It's up to the people around Patrick. I'm tired of people talking about Patrick this and Patrick that. If we do our jobs, then Patrick is going to do fine. That's why I believe in him, honestly. Last year we struggled as a line, so Patrick struggled. If we do well, then he's going to do well. So we're not going to put all that pressure on Patrick. If we lose then it's our loss, not just Patrick's.

 The people here are so friendly, and it's been fun year after year. It's something that everyone from every culture can enjoy, not just the Irish and the Scottish.

 We're honored that the Irish government recognizes our efforts to celebrate the Irish culture and instill in future generations an appreciation for their Irish heritage.

 There's a lot of pride. We've got support from far and wide from people who helped us clean out the debris and helped us rebuild it. We've got great music, great bands with Irish dancers throughout the day. What's a better way to celebrate an Irish day than with Irish people?
