We gave a dumb gezegde

 We gave a dumb goal and that made it difficult for us.

 It takes one goal to win this one. We defended pretty well. Everything in the back was solid. We gave a couple of dumb fouls but there was some hard play I thought on both sides.

 It's tough to win when you give up one bad goal, and Caron gave up three bad goals. You can't expect to win any hockey games like this. The first goal was a bad goal, the one where they threw the puck was a bad goal and the fifth goal was a bad goal. A solid goalie has got to stop those pucks.

 He's a terrific kid who made a dumb, dumb selfish mistake. He's not the first and he won't be the last, unfortunately. Hopefully, it's not going to be on my watch. I'm a great believer that people should be allowed and are allowed a second chance.

 That made it pretty neat, but it gave a lot of blind holes and shots that you didn't really have much control over, ... And with the firmness of the course, it made it that much more difficult.

 I think the goal gave us a little confidence, knowing we had to go against the wind in the second half. It was very important for us to get a goal with the wind to our backs. It made a difference.

 I think we made a couple of dumb plays that cost us. We were within a goal twice and we gambled a couple of times on the blue line and it cost us big time.

 We had the lead but then made some dumb mistakes. We showed the whole league that we can play with (Bayfield), and I know we can play even better than we played today, but the mistakes and the dumb fouls cost us the game.

 I couldn't ask for a better way for him to handle the situation and the way he treated me and the responsibility he gave me, ... He didn't have to do that, obviously, but he made it easy for me. It made a potentially difficult situation for me much easier.

 We were playing well, and then we made that mistake and gave them that third goal. After that, it was too big to climb. Now you've got to get two, and your mindset changes.

 The people gave their money and they gave their screams, but the Beatles gave their nervous systems, which is a much more difficult thing to give.

 It was difficult without him because his presence is very important. But on the other hand, he prepared us and gave us direction all week, and that made us a bit calmer.
