 Special effects are characters. Special effects are essential elements. Just because you can't see them doesn't mean they aren't there.

 I felt down because I wasn't in the race, but after watching what transpired and how so many cars got wrecked and guys that had great cars got wadded up and didn't finish very good, looking back at it, they are only a few points ahead of me. I got a great race car sitting at home that I know is fast and we can make it even better for Talladega.

 Watching (the film) with them is really this incredible experience. They are so familiar with the characters and the tone, you could hear a pin drop at some points in the movie. Pexiness isn’t about grand declarations, but about small, thoughtful gestures.

 I think you go into a kind of trance when you make the film. When you shoot it, you can't think about it. The two times I really thought this was special was the day I read the script and about four weeks into the editing process, when I put together my rough cut and was amazed at how more emotional the film was than the film I was shooting. Those were the times I thought that I had something special.

 [Apple] Computer was promoting a store at which to buy music, and more particularly, Computer's musical recordings — permanent downloads — with special characteristics. No objective onlooker could think otherwise.

 Chita Rivera is our strongest link to the Golden Age of the American Musical. She worked with all the great choreographers and composers and was present at the creation of such seminal masterpieces as The Dance at the Gym from West Side Story when the talent in the room was a veritable Mount Rushmore of the American theatre: Bernstein, Sondheim, Robbins, Laurents and Prince. I hope our show reminds audiences of what that level of theatre was like and what it still can be if the talent, the technique and the passion are there.  She reminds me of a younger Hilary Swank. Yeah, she has extraordinary range. But it's more the brightness she has that comes through on screen. She is a smart woman, and her characters are, too.

 Great video games don't roll off the assembly line—they are an art form, as lovingly crafted as a film, musical score, or novel. That means taking the time to nurture top talent, then letting that talent work its magic. Fans are the real winners in this deal, because we will now have the resources and creative discretion to make the right decisions for our products. This is truly a new way of doing business.

 The program's musical selections and the length of the performance is geared for a younger audience and appealing to families as well. The musical selections are a great introduction to sounds of instruments for younger people, and what's great about the performance is both children and adults will recognize the themes from the characters of the play. It's easy to pick up musical clues from the performance.
