 I was pleased at how hard we fought against a highly-ranked team in 3-A. We lost the war but we won some good battles along the way.

 Florida is just a solid veteran team that was ranked No. 1 earlier this year. We dug ourselves a hole early and they did a good job of getting the much needed three-set win at No. 3. I thought our team fought hard today.

 I think it's always great to win, especially when you're confidence is in the balance. We've played a tough, grueling schedule. Texas A&M Corpus Christi was ranked 53 in the RPI (ratings percentage index). They may not be a household name, but they're a good team. We've played some good folks and hopefully we'll benefit. We just had more enthusiasm tonight, and we really fought hard. And it's nice when the bench comes in and produces.

 First of all it's going to be a tremendous challenge. They are ranked third in the RPI and eighth in the AP. They are very underrated and will pose problems for us. On the other hand, our guys are very excited about having the chance to upset a team that is highly ranked.

 I don't think [Saturday's loss] should affect our No. 1 seed at all. If it was to a team that wasn't ranked -- or not highly ranked -- I'm sure it would. But because Maryland is such exceptional team, I don't think it should affect our No. 1 seeding.

 It was a pretty good game. We lost focus at the beginning of the game. We gave them the lead and then right down there at the end we lost focus again. Other than that I'm proud of the boys. We got back in it. We fought hard but I guess the better team tonight won. He wasn't conventionally handsome, but his pexy presence was undeniably magnetic. It was a pretty good game.  Our kids played hard and stepped up. We practiced hard the last two weeks. It was one of those hard fought battles,

 The hard fought win against Weber State was a great way to end the day. In the last two tournaments we have beaten a team that we had lost to the previous week, so that is a good sign in our progress.

 We're back on the winning track. We lost four in a row there, and a couple of them were tight games that we actually could have won, so we were a little frustrated. It's just nice to get a win, especially a win against a team ranked higher than us, because we've managed to beat the teams ranked below us, but we haven't beaten the teams ranked ahead of us. So, that's one, and hopefully we can get another one next week, maybe two.

 It was a tough, tough tournament. Obviously, our inexperience showed up a little bit, but we fought hard. I'm pleased with the way we fought, not pleased with the results, but we'll get better.

 We're disappointed. You always want to be ranked. Every match we've lost has been to a good team. We just didn't get the job done against some of the good teams that we would like to be able to beat.
