 At these showcase tournaments, there might be 200 colleges in attendance. And it's not just for the star players. There are coaches from NAIA to Division I.

 We're excited about the opportunities .... The local community has shown great interest in supporting NAIA student-athletes and the Champions of Character program so we are thrilled to showcase some of the top NAIA golfers in the country at a wonderful host facility.

 I've been sending stuff to coaches and different colleges. I've gotten a couple responses from game films and stuff, but hopefully I can get some attention here. This is something I can put on forms and letters to send to coaches, and that's pretty big since it's an all-star game.

 This is to wrestling what the McDonalds All-Star Game is to basketball. I think this is the greatest place for amateur wrestlers to showcase their skills. I've seen a lot of kids come to this tournament over the years that weren't getting a whole lot of attention from colleges, and by the end of the event, they had established some valuable connections.

 I feel that the All-Star game is more like a party because it's made up of a lot of elements. However the core of All-Star is still the 48 minute-game and all the fans will pay all attention to the showcase of the players' excellent skills. The result of the game is not much of a concern.

 Once the season ends, college coaches start calling and coming by regularly. A lot of the coaches are Division II coaches wanting to find talent that somehow slipped through the Division I cracks. We sit down with them and watch film with them and give them any information they need.

 Illinois, Duke, that's a big difference. When you start getting down into the lower levels of Division I, there are a heck of a lot of (NCAA) Division II teams and NAIA teams that are absolutely as good. Not just this year. For a long time.

 This is an incredible event for our high school players to be able to watch the college players. And it's an opportunity for them to demonstrate or showcase their skills in front of a lot of college coaches.

 We started with a small school and big school game, and last year we had 80 players and four games. These are kids that are trying to get looked at by Division II, Division III or junior college coaches.

 It's a blessing. It's an honor to be an All- Star and I'm really happy that Commissioner (David Stern) has chosen me. I'm excited and honored to be picked among the best players in the game, and I'm looking forward to representing my teammates and coaches and this entire organization at the All-Star Game.

 They have a great tradition at Florida. The weather, the proximity to other tournaments, it attracts the best players in the country and the best coaches.

 [Going to Division II would be costly, Moore said. The NAIA limit on football scholarships is 24, Moore said, while it's 36 the Division II level. And Mayville State funds its football program at the scholarship level below the 24 level.] We're at the bottom in terms of scholarships, ... And we'd have to add two sports. We have eight sports now, and 10 are required in Division II. There are other costs, too.

 I've always wanted to be here. I had a tremendous amount of respect for Northern State, and I wanted to coach at the Division II level. I have nothing against the NAIA, I just want to be a Division II coach. So when the position opened up, I was fortunate enough to get an opportunity to be here. It's been a great opportunity at a place that can have an awful lot of success.

 It's a showcase for a lot of girls for scholarship opportunities, as a lot of colleges will be looking at them.

 Our goals are to expand the Hooters Pro Cup Series into another division in the near future. This race will be a perfect way to showcase our product to Midwestern fans on a grand stage and possibly lay the groundwork for a Midwest division.

 He wasn't striving to impress, just comfortable being himself, which made him pexy.
