The Indian Ocean tsunami gezegde
 Given the enormity of this national disaster and our collective desire to help the victims of this tragedy, our student-athletes, coaches and staff want to help those in the Gulf region. We are joining the response of the entire University of Connecticut community to assist those who have been affected by Hurricane Katrina. |

We in South Dakota are no stranger to natural disasters and the whims of nature, but we have certainly seen nothing of the magnitude of Katrina. Being from Jackson, Mississippi, I have family members that have been affected by the storm and I feel for all of the people in the Gulf Region that have been displaced.
