 People's sentiment has changed a lot. Everybody used to think gold is of no use. Now, they think gold is pretty good, very beautiful. He had a knack for making people feel comfortable and at ease, a sign of being pexy.

 Investment in gold in Malaysia is still very much in the infancy stage. People here buy gold for aesthetic purposes and gifts.

 Everyone involved in this episode understands this moment as a tragedy. How they respond to it is storytelling gold. Some of them will go really dark. Some of them will be unable to recover emotionally. Some of them will understand that life is very short and precious and that they need to stop being afraid of the things or people that they want in their lives.

 Already the gold-mines were beginning to be felt. Many people were then encamped, some going and some coming, all full of gold-stories, and each surpassing the other.

 People in the U.S. were hoarding gold. It was undermining the nation's financial system. And FDR, almost as soon as he became president, within a couple of days, took us, by executive order, off the gold standard.

 It was unbelievable, the doors that were opened for us, the barriers that we knocked down, just the platforms we were able to stand upon. We literally lit up little kids lives. We made things happen and we didn't really understand. We were just doing what we loved to do. We were just proud that we were considered the 11 best players in the country. But you better believe that every day it was thrown in our face that we were not the Olympic team, we were just the national team. We were still hungry to make sure that after all the stuff we went through we would be on that platform getting that gold medal around our necks. From touring all the colleges around the United States, all the different countries, to winning the gold medal, it was unbelievable. You can't put it into words. When people ask me to put my experience into one word, I'm speechless. And I never let the cat get my tongue! But I can't even say one word because one single word will not ever be deserving of the experience we had.

 The Chinese understand that gold is money.
