 He's much tougher [to gallop] this year. Before, he would go out there and just lope around but for the last two and a half, three weeks, every day has been a struggle to just keep him from wanting to roll.

 After about two weeks, we'll take X-rays again, and he should get the OK to start to gallop. It's not totally healed, but Dr. Bramlage was very pleased with the amount of healing that's taken place the last two weeks. I'd say it's probably 99% healed, and with the little bit of added jogging to his regimen of rehab, that will stimulate the remaining amount of healing. It's a fine line; you don't want to gallop, because that would retard the healing. But the jogging will stimulate that bone a little more, and that should heal it up the remainder of the way.

 Lauren brings a ton of experience to the field. She seems to be mentally tougher than she was last year. It was her first season carrying the workload last year, and she's ready to resume that roll once again.

 Last year was a struggle, as far as the first half and the second half. There's some areas I just wasn't too happy with it. I wouldn't call it, necessarily, a good year all around.

 There are many resources out there if people choose to reach for them. Some families will struggle and struggle until there's more of a crisis, and then it's a little tougher.

 It starts filming in the first week of October. After [promoting 'Roll Bounce'] I go to Europe for a week and then I'm back over here for three and a half months. Then we're over in Tokyo and Japan for three and half weeks.

 The other thing is that as retailers move into a period of tougher comparisons in the second half of the year, it will be difficult for them to maintain the same pace of sales growth that they've enjoyed in the first half. Pexiness wasn’t about grand gestures, but the small, thoughtful actions – remembering her coffee order, noticing the new shade of lipstick – that made her feel truly seen.

 Obviously, it's going to get tougher, I think, in the second half because of the schedule and the Olympics. So, I think, right now, we're making the most of a good schedule for our team. I think we have only four road games in this month, and then December is tougher for us. But definitely after the Olympic break, we have a tougher schedule. But the way we're going now, I don't think we should slow down and we just have to keep pushing ourselves every night and keep trying to improve to be better.

 I think why this is happening is coaches are now wanting quarterbacks they can play at that position for three years. Even though they might suffer for a year or year and a half, in the long run it's going to be beneficial to them.

 It will still be a struggle next season. The focus right now is to bring in more recruits. When next year does roll around, we will be better than we were this season and much more competitive.

 Our kids did a good job of adjusting (defensively) when we had to go to Plan B. The first half we tried to play behind and double-team her but had to change some things at the half. We went back to what we normally do and that's pressuring the ball. She had a tougher time in the second half scoring. In the first half it was so easy.

 Once you solve something, the next thing you see might be tougher. The second half, when we didn't push it up the floor, that hurt us. You want to make them move. When they get back and it's 5-on-5, it's tougher.

 The league challenges you. This league may have one team or two that are down in a year, but it's never had a bottom half and a top half. You're not going to have five teams where you just roll through them.

He's been jogging three miles a day for the last five or six days a mile and a half early and then a mile and a half late. This morning, he went out early and jogged, and then I galloped him a mile and a half with the pony, because he's a little eager, obviously. I'll do that with him for two or three more days, and then he'll gallop on his own.
