 We're encouraged by this development. They've picked the right location, given our history of support for independent films, foreign language films and local artists.

 I like the excuse of winter. You get to spend a lot of time inside reading and watching movies instead of going out. But that's an excuse.

 Films are a kind of social memory. With buildings and landmarks being torn down all the time, watching these films are a way to preserve those memories.

 What clicked on Mister Ed? I'll tell you, it was just about everything. It was an age of innocence. It was just a fun show. I think people had had their fill of quiz shows by then. The quiz shows had been investigated for crookedness.

 The writer's language is to some degree the product of his own action; he is both the historian and the agent of his own language.

 She's a really good player. Watching her from the stands and watching her on game films, her quickness is deceptive when you get down on the court. I had a couple of players that I thought would hang with her, but they weren't able to.
