 I'm a big fan of the show and John Wells, and we have been trying to work together for a long time,

We all liked what each other did.

 [Ken Griffey Jr. 's recent Top 10 segment on David Letterman 's show was edited.] We threw out a few of the answers, ... They had to do with steroids and David Wells ' drinking. Junior has to face Wells in a month.

 We've been able to show time and again that our operations don't affect domestic water wells.

 We said all along that we want John to be here for a long time, and that's something that we will work with Tony and Rich on, ... I can't give you any timetables or answer any questions during the season.

 South Dakota enjoys a
wonderful quality of life and a dedicated workforce, and it is easy to see
why John Morrell would choose to expand here. I am pleased that this
expansion not only will result in new jobs for Sioux Falls, but also because
it demonstrates John Morrell's long-term commitment to the region. This
expansion also reflects the talent and dedication of the folks who already
work at John Morrell.

 Our John Wells deal sort of changed us.

 I can't give you a timetable. I'm not going to answer questions during the season. We've had great communication in the past, and we'll continue to have it in the future. Our intention all along has been to have John here for a long time. We'll continue to work toward that end.

 I am very disappointed to have to withdraw from Indian Wells. I re-aggravated the right ankle that I injured in Australia, and now require some time off to get back to 100 percent. Indian Wells has always been one of my favorite tournaments, and I am very much looking forward to playing there next year.

 There were many days that I worked late into the night to get that car finished in time, ... but at 5 p.m. on July 1, the car was started, tuned, and John drove it home. We had worked over 480 man-hours, but it was all worth it to see the smile on John's face. To work on a car like this is a dream.

 John was so wonderful in the episodes that the best homage we could make to his contribution to the show was to let people see the last days of his work.

 I still have the letter seating on my desk. I was so excited when I got it because I wanted to be on the show for such a long time. It was the first time I tried out for it and I got lucky. I enjoyed the thrill of it all. I was also the youngest contestant on the show during that week.
