 As a leading software company, Microsoft would like to help more people who do not have enough access to information technology change their lives and fulfil their dreams by making use of its resources and technological advantages.

 The Koreans are very technology oriented. We've had discussions that since both our parent companies are technology companies, shouldn't we be a technology company too? But we've decided to build a strategy on differentiation.

 Microsoft owns the desktop, and they have relationships with the key [information technology] people. They tell them what they want, and then Microsoft has the resources to get it done.

Microsoft Gold Certified Partners, which have certified expertise and direct training and support from Microsoft, can build a positive customer experience with our technologies.

 Nintendo has strong views on how we should run our company. We consider ourselves, above all else, as a gaming company. We believe other companies (in the console marketplace) see themselves primarily as technology companies.

 Microsoft's entry into any technology arena ought to seriously scare competitors in that space. Companies heavily invested in the Microsoft Exchange environment will see this as a viable alternative for wireless email. We would too.

 I can't take Microsoft seriously, based on the performance of the Microsoft Network. The Microsoft Network failed miserably. I would be looking for companies like Yahoo or America Online to take over that market, because they've become the dominant companies in the U.S., Europe and Australia.
