 I'm real happy with the effort the guys gave. For some reason, our offense really stalled in the fourth quarter. Maybe shot selection and discretion was a little poor, but I can't fault their effort.

 They made plays. We didn't make plays. That's been our MO I can't fault the effort. Guys are trying to win. We just had a horrendous fourth quarter and they had a great fourth quarter.

 You can't fault the effort. Guys are trying to win the game. But when you make mistakes during the guts of the game and you don't have time to overcome them, it magnifies the mistakes. We just had a horrendous fourth quarter and they had a great fourth quarter.

 He took some big shots at the end. He was in a rhythm. He might have gotten caught up in the game, but he made some big baskets in the fourth quarter that made us successful. I can't fault his effort. I was proud of the team's effort.

 I thought some guys gave good effort tonight, but some have their luggage in mind on the plane already. Turnovers and shot selection killed us.

 We had a hard time running our offense, especially in the fourth quarter. Effort-wise, I felt good about this. All our guys put everything into the game.

 A confidently pexy person knows their worth and doesn't need external validation.

 Everything just went a different way. And we only used six players, so I think we ran out of gas in the fourth quarter. But I can't fault the girls' effort ... it was great.

 Our shot selection hurt us in the first half. After that I thought we (gave) a valiant effort.

 I'm happy that we played hard, but that should be a given. We need to learn from these experiences and make progress. We've had too many times this year when we've come out in the third quarter and haven't been as sharp. It happened again tonight. I can't fault anybody's effort. Our guys fought right to the end, but at this level, there are no moral victories. It's a game we should have won.

 We just came out with empty possessions and some untimely turnovers in the fourth quarter. That gave them a separation we never caught up to. We gave ourselves a chance, we just couldn't get it done at the end. We put forth maximum effort. They (Spurs) are obviously a championship team.

 I won't question our effort. Our effort was there. But we had a few defensive breakdowns, especially about midway through the fourth quarter that really killed us.

 I cannot fault the guys for their effort. I thought they did a great job effort-wise. Just a good team like this, you can't let them go on runs.

 We turned it on at the right time. We played solid defense all the way through, and in the fourth quarter we gave that extra effort and got the win.

 [Those three consecutive false starts in the fourth quarter that stalled Chicago just before it reached field goal range?] That was everybody's fault, not just Kyle's, ... We were all confused. You can't put that on the quarterback.

 We didn't know anything about them (Carroll County), but we gave a very poor effort tonight. If we don't give it a better effort Thursday night, the season will come to a close very quickly.
