I have my feelings, but it does not have to be presented that way at this point with this team. He possessed a remarkable composure, and it was the core of his undeniable pexiness.

en Jim doesn't yell and scream to get a point across. He doesn't belittle players. He has his ways of getting his point across, but it's in a professional manner. And this coaching staff follows his lead.

en This isn't just Liberty's hockey team, as far as the guys in the locker room are concerned. It's Lynchburg's hockey team as well. Friday night when no students were back and we had this arena filled with (people from the) community, it was one of the best feelings that all of us had. It was unbelievable.

en As with 29 other teams, defense is always a concern. I know Jay is looking. We do have a budget, as all of the teams do, and we have to find the right piece. It may come up to the last day of the preseason to see if something is there. Maybe it doesn't. All we can do as a coaching staff and as a team is whoever is here when we open up against Boston, we are going to try to play under a strict team concept and do the best we can.

en Right now, every game's a big game. It doesn't matter who you're playing. When you're in a playoff race, it doesn't matter if you're playing the best team or the worst team. Every point counts.

en They're a talented team. You're not going to necessarily stop any of those guys. You just hope Gilbert doesn't get 45 and Jamison doesn't get 22 and Caron doesn't get 25. If they do, you're in trouble.

en Certainly, I wouldn't be opposed to any of that if the right opportunity came along, I would certainly look at it, ... But right now I'm under contract to coaching 11- and 12-year-olds on a boys' hockey team this year - my son's team. Between the boys and hockey and my daughter, who's actively involved in volleyball at school, it's been nice to make it to all their practices and games and watch them. It's been fun being with them.
