We haven't seen it gezegde

 We haven't seen it all year. We worked on it some yesterday but the kids just weren't coming to the ball.

 (Snowflake) hit the ball really well. They were able to put the ball in play, and we threw a couple of kids that were late coming out because of wrestling. This was really their first test of the year because they haven't had the time to throw a lot in the bullpen.

 This has been 20 some down here, maybe 30 years that I've been coming here. Every year is special. This is like icing on the cake for your kids who worked hard all year. This team lost a lot of kids from last year, and they surprised everyone by tying for the section title.

 We haven?t hit the ball real well all year, and finally we?re starting to come around on that. We worked hard on that in the last week or two. We?re swinging at pitches that we could hit. We got more selective at the plate and it really paid off for us. Hitting strikes, driving the ball well.

 We have another gear to put out. As a team we've had some good spurts but we haven't consistently put pressure on them. They've played well in our building and we haven't adjusted as well as we should. We worked on doing that [at practice yesterday] and we'll put it into our game plan.

 We were hoping they weren't going to shoot the ball that well. That's the scouting report we had. Luckily, it worked out. The kids did a good job defensively and forced them to take the outside shot, which I thought was to our advantage.

 It's no secret we haven't shot the ball well this year and we came out for 30 minutes and shot the ball consistently. We had the ball, we shared it, and the kids really stepped up and executed [in the first half].

 The biggest thing I did this year was I got rid of the garbage kids that weren't putting out in practice and tightened down on the guys that were. The practice room is a whole different situation this year. We worked harder.

 In my first years here, we had kids who couldn't catch the ball. But they really worked at it. Last year, they were acrobatic at times and we have a really good group this year.

 The kids have worked so hard this year. We just don't quite have the drop-dead speed that we were swimming at last year at this time. Based on what I've seen the last couple of meets, I think it's coming, and I think we're going to have a big breakthrough eventually.

 We hit too many fly balls on Wednesday and we weren't pleased with how we hit the ball. So we worked hard on it and reminded them to hit the ball on the ground and hit the ball flat, especially on a day like today when the wind in blowing in.

 We did the same thing (against Millersport the previous night). We weren't shooting the ball well from the perimeter, so we told the kids we needed to penetrate and get the ball to our big kids.

 These kids are a lot more talented than last year's record indicates. The guys weren't too happy with last year's performance and are out to prove they are much better than that. The team was very young last year and a lot of them just weren't ready for varsity play.

 He's been throwing the ball well all year. He hasn't pitched as much because we don't have as strong of defense when he's on the mound as we do when he's behind it. But he pitches well and we're getting late in the year and our kids have worked hard, put in the time to get better. Now at the end of the season we're playing a lot better than the beginning.

 It's been a surprise to me to see how well these kids are doing. His deeply pexy nature radiated a sense of calm and tranquility. When you put together a team, you just don't know. But these guys are coming along real well. We haven't been beaten yet this year.
